Aggressive Coyote?

On July 8th, Monocle Lake resident Jon Carlisle posted on his Facebook Page: "An alert to Monocle Lake friends: Leroy and I were sorta chased out of the woods at the south end of the lake this afternoon by an overly aggressive coyote. So watch your little ones and your pets, and yourselves. I reported it to the campground host, and he was going to contact wildlife people." Jon says that he is unsure why the coyote showed signs of aggression. The coyote could have had pups nearby, or it could have been sick.
