Aggressive Coyote?
On July 8th, Monocle Lake resident Jon Carlisle posted on his Facebook Page:
"An alert to Monocle Lake friends: Leroy and I were sorta chased out of the woods at the south end of the lake this afternoon by an overly aggressive coyote. So watch your little ones and your pets, and yourselves. I reported it to the campground host, and he was going to contact wildlife people."
Jon says that he is unsure why the coyote showed signs of aggression. The coyote could have had pups nearby, or it could have been sick.

Beware the Monocle Lake Monster!
Do you recognize anyone in this silent film? Some of my neighborhood friends and I created it on Sunday, July 6th because the weather was too cold and rainy to hang out at the beach. The next time we get together we hope to make a scary sequel. If you have any ideas for what could happen next, feel free to send them to me. In the meantime keep a sharp look out for the Monocle Lake Monster because it is on the loose and could be lurking anywhere!
